An Inter-Alien Alliance

Is It Likely?

Is An Inter-Alien Alliance Likely? Odds are that at least one planet, in the infinity of space, harbors beings speculating about us from afar.

The Earth is beautiful. 7 continents, 195 countries, a nourishing habitat, brilliant species, and what’s more intriguing, there is still more to be discovered. What’s truly fascinating is that Earth is just a tiny part of the solar system. The thing about humanity’s existence is that the more you zoom out, the tinier you get. Keep going; our expansive world is reduced to a little rock, drifting through the abyss of space.

We’re one planet, among 8 others that make up our solar system, just one of the numerous other systems through our Milky Way galaxy, one of the countless other galaxies in our “observable universe.”

Odds are that at least one planet, in the infinity of space, harbors beings speculating about us from afar.

In her fiction novel, author A.K. Frailey takes that possibility into account. Last of Her Kind is a riveting and thought-provoking narration that tells the story of planet Lux, where Cerulean, a guardian alien, oversees a fragile Earth. While his people see humanity as a possible threat and, later, as possible throw-away tools, he sees them in a different light.

Frailey provokes an important thought. If there is life out there, is there a possibility of an Inter-Alien Alliance?

Can humans and aliens not only coexist but align their interests for the benefit of all?

The Obvious

The Earth is about 4.443 billion years old. If you put that into perspective, the fact that we’re still here should support the argument that aliens are not hostile, contrary to their portrayal in pop culture. Currently, the evidence we have of aliens is in the archives of YouTube videos which are ‘particularly’ convincing.

The infamous “Tic-tac” UFO incident is a prime example of one of these incidents. In 2004, a US Navy Pilot, Commander David Fravor, was on a routine training mission on the coast of California, where he witnessed one of the most convincing UFO phenomena ever. He reports an unidentified flying object, moving at blistering speeds without any source of propulsion. Even the Pentagon acknowledged this encounter, among many others, between military pilots and referred to as “anomalous ariel vehicles.”

In 2022, the Pentagon released numerous reports of this unexplained UFO phenomenon. It is evident that whatever is out there has chosen not to hurt us and wants to be particularly discreet as well.

But suppose, one day, these extraterrestrial beings do make contact with us; how can both civilizations help each other in an Inter-Alien Alliance?

Give and take

Taking Commander Fravor’s example and a myriad of other UFO sightings, these aircraft are very intelligently put together, given the materials used for aerodynamics, the intellect, and the source of energy that helps to propel them. Not to mention that if they could make it to our planet, it would take an enormous amount of energy to do so. Humanity’s biggest threat is a lack of a renewable, clean energy source. Who knows, considering the potential of their expertise, aliens can provide us with equipment that helps us develop immensely. You might be wondering, if aliens are so advanced, why would they be headed to Earth, of all places?

As far as we can see in our solar system, the Earth’s nourishing atmosphere is one of the few that harbors life. Perhaps, they would come for our raw materials or merely to enjoy the luscious sceneries of our planet.

Slowly and gradually, the sun will burn out, and the Earth will move to its inevitable demise; Aliens might help us migrate to other planets as well. We could save billions of dollars on space exploration and use our money to better other facets of our world.

Communication

Lastly, to decipher whether this will even take place, we must understand how to communicate with these extraterrestrial creatures. Is there a channel by which we have communicated in the past? The infamous Wow! Signal was the single instance of possible extraterrestrial interaction from outer space. On August 15, 1977, a radio telescope recorded unusual feedback that lasted 72 seconds. No one knows where it came from, but speculation is that it wasn’t from here. Perhaps, aliens are trying to interact with us, just not in the way we think.

As for Cerulean in Last of Her Kind, he is fascinated by a particular inhabitant of our little blue planet, a woman named Anne Smith. She proves to be the catalyst for his motivation to save the human race. Will Cerulean succeed in his plight to save a world on the brink of destruction?
