ARAM by A. K. Frailey is an exciting inspirational Historical Fiction. #1 in “The Deliverance” Trilogy. What a beginning! Fast paced and filled with a haunting past, new hope, pagan ways, and re-uniting a clan. What a great way to learn more on things that may have happened thousands of years ago. Young and old alike will enjoy this story, as well as people of any faith. Watch as biblical characters come to life on the pages of Aram’s story. A fantastic read!

If you’re the type of reader who enjoys long, lingering epics that span several years and sweep you away to another world, then you’ll probably love A.K. Frailey’s fascinating novel “Aram”. It’s the first book in her “Deliverance Trilogy” and is truly unlike anything I’ve ever read…There is so much action, drama, humor, and even heartbreak, that I really was drawn into the story and the characters became real people to me, people I cared about, rooted for, and held my breath over as I watched their lives unfold in the pages of the book. The author’s description of the grasslands and jungles transported me to another time and place, and it was easy to lose myself in the world she created. (It even invaded my dreams once or twice!)…”

ARAM” is an amazing book! When I started reading it, at first it seemed random. But as I started to read more and more of it, it all pieced together.
“Aram”, is like three stories in one. And in the middle the three stories become one story. It is very interesting and mysterious. Whenever something happens you can imagine how it happened. There were many times when I was reading it, that I felt like I was Aram or Ishtar or Barak.
As soon as I picked this book up, I couldn’t put I down. I was reading it for hours at a time. I was reading it until nighttime and I could barley put it down to go to bed, and the next day I was up at 6:30 am reading.
“ARAM”, starts by having Aram and his clan searching for a place to live. The clan is having lots of trouble from a big cat. It had already taken the lives of three people. Then from chapter to chapter until about chapter 12, it switches from each of the three stories. So it really keeps you in suspense. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, so if you want to know more about it, I strongly suggest you buy it!
Ann Frailey is an amazing writer. This story would take a very creative person to make it. Everything just seems so real. I know that if someone told me it was a real story, I would believe them. I have already started reading the next book in the series, Ishtar’s Redemption, and it is just as good as ARAM. Her books are great independent readers for tweens (like me) and adults, but would also make great read alouds for younger children.
hours of entertaining reading which helps you to experience life from a new

A mysterious beast stalks Aram’s people, and he must lead them into a new land before it strikes again. His wife never tires of asking leading questions while his trusted friend is contemplating treachery. Challenges from within and without propel Aram into a future he could never have foreseen as he battles slave raiders, rescues a defenseless clan, and learns the truth about a curse which reaches out to him from the long dead past. ARAM, book one of The Deliverance Trilogy, draws you into the heart of intertwining journeys from shadow to light.
