Unity Poem
Vision Flight
In this Unity Poem, our personal desires give way to our need for intimacy. We want no lonely center but a brazen hope to be our guiding light.
Swaying branch,
Autumn day,
Bright sun,
Blue way.
Thoughts unsettled.
Rambling
Aimless
Noontime crest,
Sameness blest.
Craving nest, comfort snuggle,
Homestead Heartstead
Faith, please double!
Waiting through sunlight,
Brazen Hopelight,
God’s own Surenight.
Twilight
Promise
All in shadow
Home
Distant Meadow
Vision flight, fading light exclaim,
No lonely center,
Separate souls’ bane.
Unity
Intimacy
Bare
Nurture
Service
Share
Highest sun, lowest dare,
No fantom dream,
But honest glare.
Imperfect light,
See we,
Most Perfect Sight.
